It has been 8 years. The time leading up to it is difficult, emotional, etc. I remember the 1st anniversary of his death, and feeling confused as to what to do, how to remember him best, how to celebrate his life, etc. I still feel that way! Some years have been harder, some easier. There seems to be no way to predict how I will feel or how I will handle it. But, I just wanted to say that I'm with you in thoughts and prayer, and I appreciate your blog and going through this crazy journey of grief that is so difficult and unpredictable. God's presence and peace is the only predictable part of grief. I thank Him for that and pray you feel His comfort whenever you need it.
