It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Sunsets just get me every time.

Make shift banana splits.

Sheep Fajitas!!

This is a couple weeks before we got snow. Fall only occurs for about a month or so here.

First big snow this year. Somehow my attitude has changed toward snow and I absolutely love it!

Snow Ice Cream! What? Apparently this is a really big deal here. Just go grab snow, vanilla, and condensed milk. I am sold because you can have as much as you want. As long as you have snow of course.

Enjoying the snowy weather and fun adventures that I am having thus far.

  1. Gorgeous shots!
I found your blog through Natalie's "Live Teach Alaska" site.
I have actually never tried that type of snow ice creame before :)
My family usually makes our own lemon slushies during our Friday movie night... never tried this one before though- it is on the list! Now, if there was only enough snow to try it- hah!
I am so glad that you and Natalie post up blogs like this. I have lived in Alaska my whole life, but I am barely ever able to travel within it, since funds usually go straight to seeing family. Seriously, it is so expensive just getting to Anchorage, that by the time you get there, you want to see how far you can go with the funds you have!
Thanks again for the gorgeous photos- I need a better camera!
The autumn ones are particularly striking.

    1. I know that this was from last year but I just came across it. Thank you for taking a look at my blog. I like hearing that people enjoy what I blog about. The ice cream was very good and such a treat to have. I am glad to hear that you will try it sometime and hope you enjoy it as well. Where do you live in Alaska?
